While tourmates Ghost and The Sword have a foot in the metal world (even if they aren’t that metal), Purson aren’t metal at all. Their new album Desire’s Magic Theater comes out April 29 via Spinefarm (pre-order), and the new single “The Window Cleaner” is the kind of ’60s-psych revival that wouldn’t have been out of place at Monterey Pop Festival. The closest this song gets to heavy is a fuzzed-out riff that sounds like it could go into “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida.”
