Graveripper - Seasons Dreaming Death

Through Vile Haste, Graveripper Take Us "Into The Grave" (Video Premiere)

Hailing from Indianapolis, black thrashers Graveripper have returned after multiple killer EPs with a debut full-length. On Seasons Dreaming Death, furious riffs and vicious speed reign, with black metal aplomb thrown in to break up the thrashing menace.

Vocalist Corey Parks had this to say about new track and video “Into The Grave,” which we
‘re premiering below:

It’s a (grave) Ripper! This song is really a great representation of us, all wrapped up in 4 minutes. Any longer and it wouldn’t have made the record haha. It has a very German inspired main riff and verse, meloblack chorus, “big sunglasses” Black N’ Roll section, ending with furious lead fretwork all tied up with a Black Metal blasting final sequence. We’ve played it live a few times and it has a great rage and sense of urgency to it. Lyrically it’s about completely devoting yourself to a cause/belief you find to be true to yourself.

The video’s red/black aesthetic amps up the evil, helping Graveripper serve up the Satan properly. The live footage thrown in for good measure displays the instant frenzy that the band can conjure up with each vocal rasp, blast beat, and guitar riff–and the ending solos are just a bonus here. Necks be warned: this one is not for the weak.

Seasons Dreaming Death releases August 25th via Wise Blood Records.
