Wormrot - "Spot a Pathetic" (official video)

. . .

I know I post on Wormrot, like, every other day. But it's been a while since a band excited me this much. I'm not even into their style of punky grindcore. But they execute it perfectly, and I mean perfectly. I'm still in awe of their Scion Rock Fest set, which had a control over tension and release that much more established bands never attain. You knew when you were in trouble: any time the beat changed. Whether it was a blastbeat or a stumpy polka beat, people went nuts. Few bands find the G-spot that turns humans into animals. Slayer know where it is. Converge know where it is. To quote Guns N' Roses, Wormrot "hit the bull's eye every night".

Above are people willingly undergoing violation by Wormrot. The setting is The BLVD, which some here have likened to a junior high gymnasium. That's sort of accurate. The sound is even worse, and the scrapes are even nastier.
