Right now, Arizona is the place to go to find amazing metal. Maybe it’s the heat, or something in the increasingly-unavailable water, but AZ is spitting out some of the nastiest stuff in the underground. There’s blackened prog thrashers Take Over And Destroy, there’s psychedelic doom crew Young Hunter, and now there’s oozing old-school death metallers Gatecreeper.

Gatecreeper can be compared to other modern-day brutalitarians like Death Breath and Revolting, with all the buzzsaw guitars, skull-fracturing riffs, and hoarse bellows that you love.
