Mike Scheidt gives an absolutely heartbreaking performance of the title track from his new LP Stay Awake in the following clip. The video, culled from the Thrill Jockey 20th Anniversary spectacular in Portland, sees the Yob frontman away from his wall of vibrating woofers and stripped down to a single guitar. Pretty powerful stuff, and worth the view below.
Yob recently played two-nights in Brooklyn (pictures from night one and night two), but are currently working on new material to follow-up their mammoth Atma. Walls will shake.
