Tour: Sick/Tired

. . .

From everything I’ve heard, Chicago is not the greatest place to live. It’s dangerous and violent. The weather sucks, it’s crowded, and it’s hard to find a job. But, they do have good pizza, and great grindcore.

The members of Sick/Tired aren’t all from Chicago, but vocalist Adam Jennings is, and he joined this long-running Dekalb-based band just in time to start touring with them in 2012. The band is readying a new 7″ called Manufractured which features a cover of the S.O.B. favorite “Vicious World” from their LP of the same name. The 7″ is the follow-up to a recent 12-inch LP called King of Dirt which first saw light in May, but you might still be able to get a black or orange vinyl copy.

The band is touring with the similarly brutal Sea of Shit, starting two days from now.

Download the 15-song King of Dirt from their Bandcamp page and stream that and the new it in full below.
