The Howling Wind’s Into the Cryosphere is out now on vinyl. Profound Lore released the album last year on CD. (See review here.) I loved the record, but wasn’t crazy about its cover. (The liner notes were cool, though.) The text was too large, and the front-back spread had a cheesy mirror effect.
Parasitic Records has solved those issues with a new cover and layout. The pressing is no-nonsense: 180g LP, black vinyl. It’s a perfect setting for these heavyweight, icy sounds. Fans of Unearthly Trance’s V need Into the Cryosphere. It’s cut from the same cloth, but with an Arctic slant. The power of Ryan Lipynsky’s riffs compel you!
