Tau Cross - "Deep State" (Video)

Tau Cross, the international band spearheaded by Rob “The Baron” Miller formerly of Amebix, and featuring Voivod drummer Michel “Away” Langevin will not be a one-off project. The band today announced a sophomore LP entitled Pillar of Fire, and with it has released a video for the song “Deep State”.
Buzzworthy political vocabulary aside, there’s not much to differentiate “Deep State” from most of the band’s earlier material. Tau Cross still traffic in rhythmic and Killing Joke-ish metallic punk, all the better to fit the band’s overtly radical and political music. More of the same is no indictment: Tau Cross released my favorite album of 2015. Read this interview with Miller from that time, and observe the “Deep State” video below.
