Black metal rainbows

Featuring Imperial Triumphant, Couch Slut, and more, the book’s release party was both a showcase of the creativity it highlights as well as a meeting ground for NYC’s vibrant heavy music scene.

Born from a black metal symposium years ago, this recently released book includes creative and critical contributions from a diverse collective, celebrating the diversity of black metal, and also generated a massive compilation album late last year. We spoke to the creators about the book.
