US death metal band Vasaeleth is positively menacing both live (when I caught them at Rites of Darkness) and on record, so here’s to hoping that the band’s new track “Paradise Reconsecrated” eventually makes it to the stage. The track, culled from the band’s forthcoming LP All Uproarious Darkness due on Profound Lore Records, is primal, fist-raising death metal of the Incantation sort, embodying the sort of descent into hell that we would have hoped to expect from the band that brought us Crypt Born & Tethered to Ruin.
