Gorguts‘s new LP Colored Sands is a worthy entry into the band’s storied canon, bursting with impressive riffing and compelling songwriting at every turn. And though the record is still not due until next week (on September 3rd via Season of Mist), the band is continuing their streak of releasing new tracks up until the effort gets into the hands of fans. If you missed it, Gorguts was part of the first wave of announcements for Maryland Deathfest 2013, joining along with reunions from Hemdale, Excruciating Terror, and sets from bands like At The Gates and Taake.
