RIP Frank Frazetta
Frank Frazetta died yesterday at age 82. Others will do better tributes, but what I’ll offer is thanks for innovating a style that’s very metal, even if Frazetta only did the cover for one metal album, Yngwie Malmsteen’s War to End All Wars. He’s most known, of course, for his bad-ass, impossibly muscled figures. But Frazetta could lay down quite the graceful line, even with the most Amazonian woman.
