Republican National Death Metal Convention 2012

It’s always entertaining when metal gets on TV. Rachel Maddow, an MSNBC host, recently namechecked Tampa’s death metal in regards to the Republican Party’s decision to host its national convention there. She mostly gets the history right – Cannibal Corpse are from Buffalo, not Tampa – and even headbangs (a little) to Deicide. Ironically, some members of Deicide and Cannibal Corpse probably vote Republican. Maybe they can play at the convention.
