Welp, it has happened: Simon Stenbæk (vocals), Niclas Sauffaus (drums), Christian Bonnesen (guitars), and Rasmus Moesby (bass) have come together and created the most brilliant grindcore band name ever. Really, I dare you to try to beat PISS VORTEX.
Hailing from Denmark, the four piece haven’t nailed down an album title or album art, but that wasn’t going to hold us back from debuting the new track “Liars” from their upcoming 14-track record.
Recorded live in the studio over the course of three days in February, the album was produced and mixed by Jakob Reichert Nielsen in Copenhagen and then mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege in Portland, Oregon. Counting Wake and Gaza among their influences, one can certainly sense the chaotic urgency in this track, which barely crosses the two-minute mark, and features Thomas Fischer of the just-as-filthy, Gorgutsian Defilementory as guest vocalist.
