Richard Christy, of Death/Iced Earth/Howard Stern/Charred Walls of the Damned fame, has a horror movie column in Decibel. In the latest issue, (#67, Burzum cover, order here), Christy discusses 1988’s Night of the Demons.

In the column, he mentions a dancing scene in Night of the Demons 2 that’s set to Morbid Angel’s “Rapture”. Above is that scene. Christy calls it “one of the most blasphemous, sexy, and downright metal movie scenes ever”. I disagree, though it’s hilarious to see Catholic school kids getting down to Morbid Angel.

I haven’t seen any of the Night of the Demons movies, but the second one is bootlegged on YouTube in 10 parts. Evidently a remake of the original is due out later this year, starring Shannon Elizabeth and Edward Furlong.
