Given the economic downturn, some metal distros are running sales.
Relapse has a “buy one, get one free” sale for the month of March. This applies only to Relapse CD’s.
CM Distro also has a March sale: spend $75, get a free “grab bag” of five t-shirts or 10 CD’s from the Century Media “family.” The distro has Autopsy’s Severed Survival reissue, a two-disc set containing rare cuts, live material, and Autopsy’s first new songs since 1995.
Deathwish, Inc. has a free downloadable sampler containing 19 songs (15 previously unreleased) and two videos. The .pdf artwork has a coupon code: 15% off orders over $25, valid for the month of March.
Ibex Moon has a March sale on many items.
All That Is Heavy has a “spend $50, get a free CD” sale. Other than the band itself, the distro is the only place to get Giant Squid’s fine new CD The Ichthyologist, limited to 1000 copies.
Hellride has an ongoing sale, with some $.99 items.
BlackMetal.com has a sale on its own label releases.
Regimental Records has a sale: all full-length CD’s $5, MCD’s $4.
None More Black is having a going-out-of-business sale – all items $3.
Hells Headbangers is the only North American distributor for the LP of The Light-Devouring Darkness, Archgoat’s new record. The CD comes out in April on Moribund.
Oaken Throne #6 is out. It’s available at The AJNA Offensive, Aquarius Records, Ars Magna, and Profound Lore.
Speaking of zines, Convivial Hermit #4 now comes with a 32-page addendum of bonus material and a CD-R of bands covered in the issue. It’s available from The End and directly from Convivial Hermit.
