Live Photos/Video: Absu, Krallice

Absu

American black metal favorites Absu headlined Saint Vitus last night (4/11), their first of two dates at the Brooklyn venue. The show, part of their “North American Conexxus Conjuration” tour, featured ninety-plus minutes of material from across the band’s 20-year career and though the band scheduled an intermission, they instead opted to power through. Full setlist from the show is below, which featured set closer “Tara (Recapitulation)” with Proscriptor on vocals only (!) and Woe/Infernal Stronghold drummer Grzesiek behind the kit.

Brooklyn staples Krallice opened the evening, playing a set that focused on newer material and sounding taut as ever. Tombs will join Absu tonight, look for photos from that appearance on Invisible Oranges tomorrow.

Photos of both Krallice and Absu are below, along with video.
