A chronological overview of black metal’s developments and debates, the book collects existing and newly commissioned essays from the likes of Brandon Stosuy, Louis Pattison, Nick Richardson, Hunter Hunt-Hendrix, Jérôme Lefèvre, and Diarmuid Hester amongst others, in addition to previously unseen archival photography, album art, and assorted black metal ephemera.
