IO Album Giveaway: Phobia's "Remnants of Filth"

Ambient, transcendental, black and other fairly new and experimental kinds of metal seem to be soaking up a lot of the attention these days, online and in our speakers. But sometimes it feels nice kick back and relax with a little old-fashioned grindcore, ya know? Having been around since 1990, Phobia is a classic hardcore-based grind band, having come up only a few years after our grind forefathers of yore, Napalm Death.

Still at it today after twenty-some records and splits, Phobia’s newest album “Remnants of Filth” contains all of the blastbeats, spoken sound bite intros and mic-clutching growls you can handle in eighteen decimating tracks. To win your copy of “Remnants of Filth”, tell us in the comments below what album of the past you most consider “classic grind.”

This contest ends at Midnight on June 8th. As always, you must have a mailing address in the US or Canada to enter.
