From time to time, we team up with local venues and promoters to present shows in NYC and around the country. Maybe you've been to one of them--our CMJ show this past year was a good one. If you haven't made it on out to an IO show yet, the next few months will give you a chance to do so (if you live in the NYC area).

First up, we are very pleased to present the Artificial Brain record release show on March 15 at Saint Vitus in conjunction with Signature Riff. Support will come from NYC's The Communion. Tickets aren't on sale yet, but stay tuned to the show's event page and IO's Facebook and Twitter for more information. Artificial Brain's debut LP that came out last week, Labyrinth Constellation, is a monster. Don't miss your chance to see them live--they deliver one hell of a performance.

We'll be teaming up with Signature Riff again on May 2 to present Abazagorath, Chasse-Galerie, One Master, Grue and Vorde at The Acheron in NYC. This will be Chasse-Galerie's first NYC show—the Quebecois black metal band will be appearing on a four-way split with the likes of Forteresse and Monarque soon, so that should give you an idea of what to expect. Don't miss the chance to catch Grue and Vorde either, two killer up and coming black metal bands out of Massachusetts and NYC, respectively. Tickets aren't on sale, stay tuned to the event page and social media.

For our last upcoming scheduled show, we are very pleased to present the punishing Japanese death-doom greats Coffins at Saint Vitus on May 20 2014 with The Bones, Seven Sisters of Sleep and Ilsa. That'll be one of just four shows Coffins will be playing before their Maryland Death Fest appearance, so don't miss the chance to catch them in an intimate venue. Tickets are on sale.

We hope to see you at one (or all!) of these shows--a good portion of the IO crew will be there. Come on down.
