Are people still listening to this record? It arrived in a flurry of underground hype, which I still don't quite get (review). But I do appreciate its huge tones and hypnotic jangles. In this interview, frontman Dagon (evidently unmasked) talks about his Fernandes guitar and its effect on his tone.

Hells Headbangers has gone all-out with its vinyl pressing of Ominous Doctrines. Pressings come in three flavors, all 45RPM double LPs with a laser etching on side four, and with a poster included. Black vinyl comes in a gatefold package. Picture discs (shown on front) are now sold out.
