Industrial Puke Where Life Crisis Starts

Industrial Puke Put Death Metal and Hardcore Under "Constant Pressure" (Early Track Stream)

In terms of sheer ear-pleasing nastiness, Industrial Puke provides one of the most satisfying combinations of death metal and hardcore I’ve listened to yet. Founded by an equal admiration of Disrupt and Dismember, the Swedish band’s debut EP Where Life Crisis Starts indulges in ratty HM-2 guitar tones, decrepit vocals, and lightning-quick d-beats as it ravages its way through just about eight minutes of mayhem. Crusty, vicious, and wickedly short, this EP is out for blood and pointed straight at the vitals.

We’re offering a taste of it below with “Constant Pressure,” a track packed with infectious violence, tendrils of melody, and barely-parseable lyrics that are less screams and more shouted snarls. Normally in death metal/hardcore, one genre seems to rise amongst the others, but I’m not sure that’s the case here: both sides of Industrial Puke’s sound are locked in a bloody struggle. The battle rages on, but, well, we the listeners win regardless.

Where Life Crisis Starts releases September 16th via Suicide Records.
