Indeed, this new boutique label is strictly old-school. It releases only lavishly packaged vinyl, CD’s be damned. So far it has put out slabs by Deadbird, Hail!Hornet, Black Skies, and Power Pellut. Up next are a triple-gatefold reissue of Eyehategod’s Confederacy of Ruined Lives, a live album by US Christmas, a split by Samothrace and The Roller (with artwork by Kylesa’s Laura Pleasants), and a four-way split of Louisiana bands The Devil and the Sea, Thou, Haarp, and A Hanging (with artwork by Stephen Kasner). Whew!
Black Skies – NomadPower Pellut – The Gambler (demo)
I’m giving away vinyl copies of the Black Skies and Power Pellut releases. These are absolutely beautiful (see above), with gatefold packaging and 180 gram vinyl, limited editions of 500. That Tom Denney artwork for Black Skies, which stretches across the gatefold panels, must be seen to be believed. I’ll also throw in a CD copy of Power Pellut’s The Three-Headed Monster demo.
