Wreck and Reference-Adjacent hand model "Run[s] Circles With Knives" (Track Premiere)

Though the world knows Ignat Frege as the heavy-handed percussive half of experimental metal(?) duo Wreck and Reference, his creativity runs much deeper. Under the moniker hand model, Frege crafts hypnotic, uncomfortable atmospheres with layered electronics beneath their distinctly detached spoken voice.

Manufactured Joy covers familiar territory for Frege, whose Wreck and Reference project is similarly nihilistic, however, hand model’s misery is sardonic, sarcastic, even vulgar (note the rare Parental Advisory sticker). Weighing in on current events and deep-seeded injustices, Frege’s Hand Model attacks the world in long-form prose. There is much to be fixed. Listen to “Run Circles With Knives” below.
