Things have not always been easy these last couple of years, but now it’s all behind us and all I can say is that I’m more than eager to share this new record with all of you. Our forthcoming album will be a very detailed, dark, epic, emotional, conceptual record”
With the new lineup solidified through a few years of touring, Luc Lemay made the above announcement regarding the future of Gorguts. Look for the band’s fifth studio album later this year on Season of Mist. The band, which now features drummer John Longstreth and 2/3 of Dysrhythmia (Colin Marston and Kevin Hufnagel), made toured in 2010 with Portal & Bloody Panda, as well as on select dates on the Death to All reunions.
