Go see Dysrhythmia
Go see Dysrhythmia. They are coming to a town near you. That is, if you live in Europe, the US, or Canada. I saw them play a few years ago and remember the experience vividly. It was one of the most physically and mentally engaging sets I’ve ever heard. Kevin Hufnagel is a guitar god. In a good way. No mindless showboating, just chewy, abstract goodness. His bandmates Colin Marston and Jeff Eber are total shredders, too. Marston leads Behold…The Arctopus and plays in an experimental ambient outfit called Byla alongside Hufnagel. They both play in the new incarnation of Gorguts. Eber is in an avant-jazz band called Zevious that is well worth hearing.

After 12 years, Dysrhythmia are undertaking their first ever European tour. The dates are below. Some venues and details have changed since the original tour flyer came out.
After Dysrhythmia return from Europe, they and Intronaut will open for Cynic on a North American tour. The dates are below. Cynic will play Focus in its entirety on this tour. Intronaut will be rolling out new material from their upcoming album. I’ve heard some of it, and it’s killer. This will be the prog tour of the year.
