Given what’s happening in Japan and Africa, I feel like a metal blog is about as inconsequential as it gets.

I’m just grateful that Unearthly Trance, High on Fire, and Melvins could get home safely from Japan.

The big earthquake cancelled the Tokyo gig.

I wonder if High on Fire ever thought that their song “Fire, Flood & Plague” would actually come to be:

Mother of all creation
Gives doom to generations
