Outside of the underground community, UK doom trio MOSS haven’t made many waves stateside. Its a shame, this UK trio have the melodies, the restraint (a key element in doom metal), songwriting and the thick sludgy tone to make genre fans worldwide take notice.

Moss is readying their new LP Horrible Night for release stateside via Rise Above/Metal Blade, their second release readily available stateside. The long-player adds to the band’s fabled doom lore, packing soaring vocals over woofer-quaking riffs across its six tracks.
