Norwegian black metal legends Emperor played the Kings Theater in New York with spooky Philadelphia blackened goth punks Devil Master this past Sunday, June 25th. Playing their seminal Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk album in full (with some choice cuts from the rest of their discography), Emperor’s majestic, symphonic black metal was a sight to see on their first US tour in over 15 years. The general consensus is that if you missed this, you erred greatly, but you can check out photos from the show below.
