Cord/chord: Get it right, people!

Some things I need to get off my chest before I go on a killing spree across the Internet:

A guitar cord goes into an amp.

A guitar chord is several notes played at once on a guitar.

A vocal cord is a body part that helps produce speech and singing.

A vocal chord is several notes sung at once.

That requires either several people or freaky Tibetan throat singing.

Finally, Mastodon is not spelled Mastadon.
(No other band has as many fans that can’t spell its name.)
