Bongzilla Rip Fat Hits On New Single "C.A.R.T.S." (New Video Debut)

Wisconsin’s finest are at it again, and without a massive break between albums this time. Bongzilla might not bring any new tricks to the table on their new album Dab City, but that doesn’t make their brand of stoner/doom metal (one of the few bands of the style I regularly enjoy) any less good! You know what to expect: big grooves, thick tone, and vocals that sound like exhaling (and coughing) after taking the world’s biggest dab from some ridiculous Grav Labs rig. Or maybe just taking a big ol’ hit from something as unassuming as an aluminum can, which guitarist and vocalist Michael “Muleboy” Makela does frequently in the video we’re debuting below. Bongzilla doesn’t discriminate when it comes to their favorite thing in the world: smoking weed. Luckily for us, their other favorite is making quality doom metal that takes heavy, ’70s psychedelia and makes it as thick and syrupy as possible. “C.A.R.T.S.”, Dab City‘s shortest song which we’re debuting below, is no less dense in catchy riffitude and grooviness, even when compared to some of the album’s (much) longer songs. I know it’s early in the morning right now, but go ahead and wake and bake to this. I won’t tell your boss. Maybe rip your vape cart in the middle of Target if you’re there. It’s all about the vibe, maaan.
