Bastard Noise announce reissues, new releases with Lack of Interest & Richard Hoak

Eric Wood is resurrecting a few old Man is the Bastard releases and readying a few new Bastard Noise records for Deep Six. In addition to reissues of the Charred Remains / Bastard Noise First Music / First Noise split, Man Is The Bastard / Bleeding Rectum split LP, and the Man is the Bastard / Aunt Mary 10″, The Bastard Noise are readying a pair of new releases as well.

First on deck is Bastard Noise‘s The Progression of Sickness, which features the band’s current lineup of with drummer Jesse Appelhans of Upsilon Acrux along with Aimee Artz and Eric Wood. The release, which fits on a 45RPM 10″ clocks in at 14 minutes over its two tracks. Possibly more fascinating though is the second release, the Bastard Noise / Lack of Interest split, which features Richard Hoak (Total Fucking Destruction / Brutal Truth) behind the kit along with Artz and Wood. Mitchell Luna of on-again/off-again grind unit Maruta (who recently opened for Infest, pictures HERE) drops in for vocals on a track. Look for those “coming soon as fuck” (according to Mr. Wood).
