Baroness Injured in Bus Accident

You may have already heard elsewhere, but if not: Baroness were involved in a serious accident while on tour–their bus dropped 30 feet into a viaduct, injuring 9 people in total, including members of the band.

The official statement from the band’s press release reads:

Baroness were in a serious bus accident last night near Bath, England. The band members and crew are recovering at local hospitals. All tour dates are postponed until further notice.

News of an accident is always horrible to hear. Metal has far too painful a history of tour accidents already; news like this is just disheartening. Thankfully we can take some relief in the knowledge that everyone survived the initial crash, so there is hope the band and crew will all pull through.
