Bâ'a's "Deus Qui Non Mentitur" Pits Humankind Against the Divine

Bâ’a exists at full-throttle: blast-beat intensity, riffing grandeur, and throat-rending chaos. This anonymous black metal unit’s debut album, which is due out tomorrow, is one of the rare examples of pure madness in an atmospheric black metal setting; emotion which exists beyond the pastoral and devoted.

Thematically described as “the relationship of man to the divine, and the damages caused to this connection by man’s selfish pride and Ego,” Deus Qui Non Mentitur‘s relationship into the interplay between humankind and the various gods which guide them is a harrowing journey, but also a beautiful one. Bâ’a does not hold back with their use of glorious melody and expansive atmospheres, resulting in a powerful listen. Listen to an exclusive stream of Deus Qui Non Mentitur below.

Deus Qui Non Mentitur releases April 24th on Osmose Productions.
