Album Stream Debut: Piss Vortex, Self-Titled

Piss Vortex had me at “Hello, our name is Piss Vortex” and I couldn’t resist debuting their track “Liars” from a not-yet-complete album back in June. Well, now that the band has crossed their t’s and dotted their i’s on this release and I couldn’t resist coming back for more to debut their new self-titled record in its entirety.

Proof that the language of music is universal (as is the aggression of metal) I could swear I hear some NYHC-style hostility in the depths of this cacophonous grindcore, even though the four-piece hails from Copenhagen. Coming out November 3rd, the band will be playing some Danish shows throughout the rest of the year, but I’m crossing my fingers that they make it across the pond in 2015.

Head below to listen to the new album in full. A supply of the black vinyl version of Piss Vortex, limited to 350 copies, is available exclusively in the US via Earsplit Distro HERE, and both the black and limited piss yellow vinyl in a run of 150 copies via Indisciplinarian’s webshop HERE, as well as all relevant digital platforms.
