Vancouver’s Skagos will release their new LP Anarchic on April 23rd via The Flenser. The two-track, multi-movement effort spans more than an hour in length. Atmospherics open the effort, with the band settling into dreamy, almost Deftones-style clean vocals/shoegaze before furious blasts take over. Spacey shoegaze parts continue as the record progresses, with movements featuring a haunting solo piano, ethereal female vocals and epic, post-metal sections that might be at home on an Explosions in the Sky LP.
