Mammoth Grinder has quite a release on their hands with Underworlds, due via 20 Buck Spin on July 23rd. Featuring Austin’s Mr. Versatile, Chris Ulsh, the 29-minute effort is Discharge-meets-Leeway-meets-Asphyx and all muscle, packing ten lean burners and never outwearing its welcome. Four years removed from the similarly massive Extinction of Humanity, Underworlds is a must for fans of the blurry lines between old school DM and crossover thrash, as well as any of Ulsh’s previous works including the latest Power Trip and the new Hatred Surge.
