Stream: Exhumed – “Necrocracy”

After returning from a quiet period with 2011’s All Guts No Glory, West Coast death-grinders Exhumed will follow-up that long-awaited effort with another, Necrocracy. The LP features ten new tracks by Matt Harvey & co, including the previously discussed “Coins Upon the Eyes“, “Sickened” and the latest out of the gate, the title track “Necrocracy”, available below.

After a double-time intro, the title track settles into a groove-y section for verse, before hitting the double time again by the time the chorus rolls around. Its that compelling groove element that keeps their new LP Necrocracy interesting, making for great-half speed headbangs in between the full-on blast insanity. Not that anyone would want to relieve themselves from Exhumed’s death-assault-peppered-with-a-touch-of-humor, far from it. But as they say, diversity is the spice of life.

Preorder your copy of Necrocracy at Relapse (out 8/6), but not before heading below for a preview of the album matieral and the outtake “The Beginning After the End”. Don’t forget to catch Exhumed on the road with Dying Fetus this fall.
