Sodom Releasing New EP, Share “Down On Your Knees”

German thrash legends Sodom are back with a new band lineup and a new EP. Longtime leader Tom Angelripper has welcomed ’80s-era guitarist Frank Blackfire (who played on Persecution Mania and Agent Orange) back into the band, and they now also have Stefan “Husky” Hüskens (Asphyx, Desaster) on drums and Yorck Segatz (Beyondition) on guitar. The new lineup will release Out of the Frontline Trench on November 22nd via eOne in North America and SPV/Steamhammer in Europe, and it features three new songs as well as a new re-recording of Agent Orange‘s title track and a 2018 live version of “Bombenhagel” from Persecution Mania. The first new song released is “Down On Your Knees,” a real ripper that isn’t just good for a veteran band but good in general. Listen below.

Sodom are also planning to release a new full-length album called Genesis 19 in 2020.
