Red Death Sickness Divine

Red Death Announce New Album "Sickness Divine," Share "Face The Pain"

Red Death’s stint opening Cro-Mags’ Best Wishes 30th anniversary European tour begins tonight (9/27), and just in time for the trek, Red Death have announced their new album, Sickness Divine, due November 29th via Century Media (their first album for the label and third overall). It was produced by past collaborator Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Sacred Reich, Creeping Death, etc), and the first single is “Face The Pain,” a rippin’ dose of crossover thrash revival that Cro-Mags fans should definitely dig on this upcoming tour.

Vocalist/bassist Chad Troncale says it’s “a song about inner strength and taking care of business. Inspired by both bettering myself and listening to Jocko Willink. The objective of this song is to get people to always own up to their mistakes and power through life’s nonsense.” Listen below.

There’s also a limited edition physical release with a cover of the Misfits’ “Death Comes Ripping” as a bonus track. After the Cro-Mags tour, Red Death play a hometown show in DC, and they say “many more dates will be announced soon.” Tracklist and current list of tour dates below.
