Premiere: The Oath - "Silver and Dust"

With the release of their self-titled new album, Sweden and Germany’s The Oath are dedicated to true heavy metal. Comprised of guitarist Linnea Olson and singer Johanna Sadonis, their sound is a doomy mixture of Sabbath, Trouble, and Mercyful Fate, with Olson’s thick meaty riffs accompanied by Sadonis’ own husky yet versatile vocal, all with the help of a thundering rhythm section and “improvised Voivod-style solos” by In Solitude’s Henke Palm.
