Photos/Video: Torche, KEN Mode, Lo-Pan, Inter Arma

285 Kent is not used to shows like the one that went down on Friday night (June 14th) during Northside Festival in Brooklyn, NY. The predominantly indie & punk space usually houses bands that vary as widely as Hank Wood & the Hammerheads to Merchandise, so a headlining appearance from Torche in the space was an oddity.
But that oddity, is what also made the Floridian doom-pop band so compelling in the raw, DIY space. Joined by the metallic noise of KEN Mode, stoner-y Ohio gang Lo-Pan and Richmond groove-black metal favorites Inter Arma, the sold-out 285 Kent was a rare glimpse back top Torche’s punk-rock roots, which made it so raucous. Pictures and video from the Invisible Oranges showcase are below.
Invisible Oranges and BrooklynVegan would like to thank all who attended, the Northside Festival, and of course the excellent bands for such a memorable night.
