Obsidian Kingdom - "Away Absent" (Song Premiere)

Hailing from Barcelona, Obsidian Kingdom is a band whose music “is not easy to label,” according to the first line of their Wikipedia page. They clearly do not intend to make their 2016 release “A Year With No Summer” an exception to this rule. The first track to be unveiled is below, titled “Away Absent.”
Should you want to categorize them in one word or even a half of one, that word would be “prog”. However there are some subtle things at play here that are certainly more intriguing than that – no one sound overwhelms you at any point, and I particularly enjoyed the places where the electronic glitches brought a Godflesh vibe to mind.
