King Giant are another band whose obscurity enrages me. If I had a label, I would put out their 2009 album Southern Darkness in a heartbeat. (I wrote about it and one of their videos here.) It completely embodies its title. Fans of Clutch, Hank III, and Eyehategod, take note!

Now Southern Darkness has made it onto vinyl. The LP comes on 180g vinyl in two flavors – oxblood and oxblood with gold and silver splatter (pictured above). Both versions come with digital download cards. Stream Southern Darkness in full below, and soak up some of the most honest and soulful music being made today.
