IO Exclusive Album Stream: Terminal Function's "Clockwork Sky"

Inspired by Gorguts and Cynic (RIP!), Swedish tech metal foursome Terminal Function will be releasing their sophomore effort Clockwork Sky one week from today. To be released by the always on-point Willowtip Records, the band has amped up their technical shreddage levels to 11.

“This album is a huge step forward for us in many aspects: we’ve added an eighth string to the guitars and we set out to make a crushing record,” said guitarist/keyboardist Stefon Aronsson.

“We think we’ve succeeded. One vision for this album was that we wanted to make it an aggressive, fast paced album with shorter songs so we skipped the use of synthesizers and we’ve worked a lot with the format of the songs.
The vocals have really evolved and we think they fit the album very well. The mighty Per Nilsson (Scar Symmetry) mixed and mastered the album and he’s really made the album sound great! Enjoy!”
