Listening to Screaming For Vengeance, it’s clear that the heavy-level riffage, piercing vocals, and suggestive lyrics wrote the blueprint for virtually all of the 80’s metal that would follow in its path.
The 30th anniversary edition of Screaming for Vengeance will be released on September 3rd, and features not just the remastered original album and bonus tracks, but also a live DVD from the 1983 US Festival concert, filmed in San Bernardino, CA.
