That’s one of the best testaments a band can receive, right? Changing opinions ain’t easy. But to be able to do it in one of music’s toughest environs? That’s no small thing.
Of course, KEN mode are no small band. They’ve steadily built upon on their noisy, post-hardcore tumult for years, refining it to the point where their power is so undeniable, they have crossed over. Now, they’re the award-winning KEN mode. Plus, they did it without selling out their sound or making compromises. More importantly, THEY ONCE WERE SADDLED WITH THE CURSED VELVET UNICORN. They beat the curse. They should be carried across the pit Rudy style. Truly, hats off.
And that’s why we’re presenting the NYC stop on KEN Mode’s upcoming North American tour. The band will hit Saint Vitus on September 2. They’ll be joined there by downer destroyers Primitive Weapons, Couch Slut, and Psalm Zero. Tickets are available now.
