Invisible Oranges Live! Humanless, Psalm Zero, Buckshot Facelift, Bloodmist

Invisible Oranges is pleased to once again team up with Chaos Bodies to present Humanless, Psalm Zero, Buckshot Facelift and Bloodmist at Trans Pecos in Bushwick, NYC on Sunday, December 14. We hope to see you there.

We presented the inaugural Chaos Bodies show, which featured Geryon, Gates, Oneirogen, and New Firmament, back in October. A quick reminder about Chaos Bodies—it’s the ongoing series presented by Charlie Looker and Andrew Hock, the duo behind the always excellent Psalm Zero. Psalm Zero, by the way, has been in the studio recently. Expect to hear from them in the coming year.

Humanless should look a little familiar to fans of the now defunct and sorely missed NYC doom/sludge band Unearthly Trance. Humanless is a brand new project from Unearthly Trance’s Ryan Lipynsky and Jay Newman, and while Humanless certainly has a core of sludge and doom, experimental rock is another focus on their debut EP. The industrial/metal weirdos Psalm Zero, meanwhile, put out The Drain back in March. Buckshot Facelift is a fantastic and underrated NYC grindcore band that just released one hell of an album. The band’s singer is none other than Will from Artificial Brain, who is always a highlight of any live performance he takes part in. Lastly, Bloodmist is a new dark ambient project from Kayo Dot’s Toby Driver, Jeremiah Cymerman and Mario Diaz de Leon, better known around these parts as Oneirogen.

Tickets for the show, which is all ages, are $10 bucks. Doors open at 8 PM and things should get going around 9. Stay in the loop at the event’s Facebook page.
