Scab Casserole and IO editor emeritus Fred Pessaro hosted the weekly Invisible Oranges show last night. Scab and Fred chatted with A389 Records boss Dom; IO will be co-sponsoring A389’s retardedly cool tenth-anniversary bash. You can still nab tickets for the fest’s first day (featuring Infest and Haymaker) here, and for the second day (featuring Integrity, All Out War, and Bloodlet) here. Speaking of tickets, Fred and Scab also gave away tickets to Watain‘s show at Irving Plaza on 10/8 with In Solitude (who topped the first significant year-end list of 2013) and Tribulation. Last night’s show (10/1) is now available in an archived stream and on the EVMobile app, as well as on their site. Next week (10/8) at 10pm, we’ll be chatting with Jesse Madre of local strongmen Tiger Flowers. He’s a talker; don’t miss it.
