"Emanatism" from the Core of Amnutseba's Terror (Full Album Stream)

With two demos under their belt, the mysterious Amnutseba made one thing abundantly clear: this shadowy figure is an unnerving black metal adept. Now with a full-length ready for release, Amnutseba’s labyrinthic black metal expands, contracts, and makes jagged, unexpected movements. Listen to an exclusive stream of Emanatism below.

Taking cues from the mid-1990s “strange” school of black metal, Amnutseba’s range of comparison begins and ends there, primarily due to their music’s impenetrability. Buzz words like “dissonance” can be used here, and, yes, clattering discord is a primary feature found within this album, but don’t expect Amnutseba to sound like their countrymen (whose name I will not utter — what’s the point of name dropping, anyway?) — rather, Emanatism‘s devotional spells manifest as overwhelming walls of sound and unnavigable terror.

Emanatism releases March 27th on Iron Bonehead Productions.
